Fort Lauderdale has a peculiar
landmark: the BLUE BIKES that appear here and there in the
downtown area, locked down to bike racks or chained to posts. We
have noticed them for about two years, but have no idea where they come
from or what they represent.
The bikes are all painted in the same shade of
flat light blue paint, but are different sizes and types. For your
edification, we present pictures of the ones we have seen. There
may be others.
